Influence of contact pressure on the thermal contact conductance of layered metallic sheets

For the optimisation of annealing process aluminium coils, simulation is often performed. To simulate with higher accuracy, reliable input parameters are required, and thermal conductivity (thermal contact conductance) one them. In present study, a method to measure conductance metallic sheets were developed based on steady-state comparative longitudinal heat flow. The apparatus was built compression test machine, thus it allows control pressure sample carry out measurements at different pressure. An equipped heater 573 K. evaluate interface, resistance network model applied. carried an alloy (AA3003 sheets). addition measurements, surface roughness also investigated. semi-empirical equation for relationship between obtained measurement results.
